MY FUTURE PROFESSION

I am a student of the Nowosibirsk State University of Architeture and Civil Engineering. My future profession is a civil engineer.

In our country construction is being carried out on a large scale. That is why civil engineers are now in great demand. They construct and reconstruct residential and industrial buildings, bridges, schools, palaces of culture, museums, theatres, Hospitals and other structures. Civil engineering is an extremely broad professional field. Civil engineering problems involve the physical, mathematical, life, earth, social, Communications, and engineering sciences. Civil engineering projects involve many other professional areas, including law, public health, economics, management, finance, and the other branches of the engineering.

The person entering this profession must have a scientific attitude, imagination, initiative and good judgement, obtained by experience and serious work. He should also have a sense of responsibility.

Civil engineering is a calling. It is a hard job. But civil engineers seem to be consumed by enthusiasm for their work.
